Official Launch of the OrbiX Platform

ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA — August 27, 2026 — OrbiX Technologies officially launched the OrbiX platform, the intelligent mobility operating system unifying smart EV charging, automated parking and citizen services, at a high-profile event held at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa.

The launch event successfully concluded with the presence of government representatives, business owners, partners and stakeholders from across the mobility, energy and technology sectors. The gathering marked a milestone in Ethiopia's journey toward smarter, greener and more connected cities.

During the event, OrbiX unveiled four flagship products now available on the platform: Smart Parking, EV Platform, iHub, and Ethio Parks. Together, these products form a unified digital infrastructure designed to connect people, infrastructure, businesses and services.

The EV Platform delivers a unified charging network, station management and driver applications with full option for driver self service from its premium app. iHub provides a citizen-facing channel for incident reporting and public services bringing government, public services, institutions and citizens into a single platform, while Ethio Parks connects residents and visitors to parks, attractions and recreational venues across the country.

The launch event featured live demonstrations of the platform, showcasing how operators, utilities and municipalities can manage parking and charging infrastructure from a single command center. Attendees also heard from OrbiX leadership on the company's roadmap for expansion across Ethiopia and the wider African region.
